Our builders will do an access check to determine if crane access is possible. Once the checks are complete we will give you a ‘Pod Compatibility Check’ certificate showing if your property is Pod compatible.
The concept design begins with you discussing your project brief and budget with our Partner Builders, who will visit your site, once we agree the Pod System is appropriate for you. We will help you decide which Pod System type and style is best for you. We will then draw up a set of plans showing how your existing home and Pod extension will work. Once the concept design is complete we make sure your design matches your budget.
Our architects work with you to finalise the design of you home. We prepare the drawings and documentation required for approval. The final sets of drawings are then costed to determine the price of your Pod System. Once you are happy with the design and price, we apply for planning approval.
Finally, your Pod System design is submitted for approval. We take care of the whole lodgment process so you don’t have to worry about a thing. The Pod System can be approved under new Complying Development laws, which fast-track building approval reducing approval time by up to one third.
